Jill J. Jensen, our listener-in-chief, head producer/writer/editor, and all-around project coordinator. She’s ready to help you dig through the digital drives, cloud folders, file cabinets, CDs and DVDs, cardboard boxes, plastic tubs, stash of napkin notes, and piles of scribbled-on envelopes you’ve accumulated over the years. Or, if you’re carrying all that history and perspective around in your head, she’ll listen while you talk it out. Then, she’ll work with you to sort, organize, find, and polish your story — creating clarity from chaos — on your way to developing dynamic conversations with the people you serve in the combination of media formats that best fit your needs.

Through her independent agency, Jill specializes in writing and editorial services, production for digital and print media, multimedia development, and communication strategy. She also coordinates and manages a diverse network of professional experts skilled in digital, print, social, online, video, photo, and other media formats.

A pioneer in collaborating with virtual teams, Jill works with for-profit and not-for-profit businesses of all sizes, including Rockwell Collins, Amana Refrigeration, the Society for Organizational Learning, the International Television Association, and the Iowa Department of Education, among others. While leading the Media Services department at North Iowa Area Community College, she partnered with faculty, administrators, students, business executives, and community organizations to create a variety of instructional, administrative, marketing, and informational materials. In addition, she developed integrated marketing materials for a range of U.S. colleges and universities in association with Click New Media Group and with Stamats, Inc.

Jill holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University focused on communication — including journalism and radio, television, and film production. Her works in print, photography, video, and online media have been recognized with awards from the Iowa Motion Picture Association, International Communicator, American Advertising Federation, Aurora Awards Gold, and various art museums.
